Rather than naming yet another amphitheatre after some type of airline, beverage product, business-supply chain or grocery store (Save On Foods Memorial Centre, anyone?), the people of San Francisco have chosen to name a 600-seat amphitheatre after hometown hero Jerry Garcia.
