Oh come on now- you gone too far sir!

realistically they didn't jam... actually some of them could hardly play at all by the time it was time for them to come on stage' date=' so in that sense the name was fitting.

 [/quote']

I could see a BGH spin-off band going by the name of Jamcohol.

[color:purple]You know what grinds my gears? Solo performers who appear under a "band" name, especially one that has the word "The" followed by a plural noun, because that makes you think you're going to see a complex, layered, interesting band, with a soundscape occupied by several interacting voices, when in fact it's just one guy sitting on a stool and maybe playing a guitar, rambling about other imaginary band members who may or may not show up in the performer's alcohol- and cannabis-fueled delusions, and getting off on how "big" she/he feels appearing as a band, when in fact she/he is just using the band name to cover up her/his personal insecurities and low self-esteem. If it's just going to be you on stage, then tell people, don't hide behind a name that isn't yours. That's what grinds my gears.

Aloha,

Brad
