bradm
I've been listening to the Yonder Mountain String Band show that Freeker recently recommended, and like it a lot, especially because it has "Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys", an old favourite of my family (my Dad was and my Mom is a big fan of Waylon & Willie).I was wondering if anybody knew of any really good one-disc YMSB shows (archive.org or BT), ideally that lean more towards country (esp. with some cover tunes, such as Waylon/Willie/Kris) than heavy-duty bluegrass; I'd like to give a YMSB show to my Mom, but I don't think she's that big a bluegrass fan, nor is she that knowledgeable about music (thus the covers).Aloha,Brad
Booche
When they become a Dread Clampitt cover band, let me know. Seriously, thanks for the recommendation. I dug them alot. I have a few Yonder shows at home but I am clueless on the dates. Seek out them covering It's Only A Northern Song. Brilliant.

bradm
That might be 2001-07-01 (from Oregon), which I'm listening to right now. Freeker put it in the BT forum, and I found it on archive.org. It also has Keller Williams sitting in for a few tunes.Aloha,Brad
