Jaimoe
Jason Molina is in the M. Ward, Jim James from MMJ and Ryan Adams singer/songwriting vein - and is influenced greatly by The Byrds and early 70's Crazy Horse. TheGoodRev
SWEETI like this dude and the newest record. My girlfriend is all over his older stuff but I haven't really heard much of it yet (when he was calling himself Songs:Ohia). Looking forward to that Toronto show. Jaimoe
Songs: Ohia is really moody, dark electric folk, often with just Jason playing his seven-string guitar unaccompanied. It's fantastic. There's elements of this style in Magnolia Electric Co., but Jason seems more focused on a band dynamic nowadays. He continues to be fantastic.
