8th Annual Toronto Global Marijuana March 2006

Location: Queen's Park North, behind the legislature on University Avenue

Time: 11am until 8pm

Cost: FREE

The day and night will be filled with an incredible ensemble of Canadian based talent.

The Toronto Global Marijuana March will hold its regular parade route down Bloor and Yonge streets, returning back to Queen's Park North Park in time for '4:20pm celebrations'. This year organizers hope to double the attendance to 20,000 for the peaceful event that celebrates cannabis culture, music, games, comedy, dancing, poetry, food, awareness, and education. Festivities are FREE to attend and will begin at 11am and go until 8pm.

J saw your high plains set...GREAT JOB!!!

Thank you BAJ! Our set was a preview of what we're going to do at Come Together, as "the jamband" of the festival, I though it was our job to embody that title and our set was highly improvisational... I think we were well recieved, wow I was a bit nervous in front of that many people!

Heard the Irie band mention your name

I was playing percussion with the Irie Band , and for their last song, I played guitar, that was a real treat to play with some great Reggae Musicians! (This was just before 4:20 and there was one of the crazies crowds!)

I WILL NEVER FORGET, THIS WAS ONE OF THE MOST PEACEFUL DISPLAYS OF ACTIVISM & PROTEST I HAVE EVER SEEN! GOOD ON YOU POT HEADS!
