Keep in mind, 60% of the field is eliminated on day one. Out of 8,000 players, only the top 800 or so will win money. I'm not saying that I am pessimistic or anything, but I am setting my expectations at the proper level.

Goal # 1 - Make it through day 1.

How many games (where I'm assuming a game will end up with every player except one being eliminated, i.e., reduced to no money) per day are there? (And if you lose a game, are you out completely, as in an elimination tournament, or is it a round-robin kind of thing?)

Aloha,

Brad

Man, I love my bosses. They are so happy about this that they are going to give me extra free days off from work. I told them I would carry a backpack with the company logo on it, and that made them even happier. Just about all done making my travel plans.

I am so excited about this that I am having a really hard time concentrating on anything else, and I am already getting nervous. I have a feeling that will get a lot worse before it gets better.

Some other perks that I have been looped into:

As a member of Team Pokerroom I will now be offered opportunities to represent the site at local events. For example, they sent local Team Pokerroom members to the Maple Leafs Celebrity Dinner and Auction to coach the players and celebrities in the charity poker game!

Yikes!

..as long as you leave ample room for pricebasher.ca advertising!

congratulations! this reminds me of a recent poker champion story. i recall a U of Waterloo student winning the tourney recently, got a sponsorship from pokerstars, and gets all kinds of perks from that. ...it could be you! cheers.
