creating playlist.. need help!

not too long ago someone in here posted a topic asking how to adjust the volumes of random mp3s in a playlist.. and for the life of me i've been searching but i can't find that thread.

i'm creating a bunch of playlists for a friend's wedding (in itunes) and am wondering if someone can let me know how to adjust the volume of an entire playlist (in itunes)?

there's the 'soundcheck' option, which applies to a whole library i believe, and then in the properties of each song or group of songs there is a volume slider that you can adjust. but it's not relative to the other songs or anything.....

bah. maybe try your luck in the ilounge.com forums, people there will jump all over this question in about 3 seconds i bet.

if you right click on each track and go to Get Info, then to Options you can adjust the volume of that track

I'd put "Run Like Hell," done by the biscuits and watch the ceremony slowly peter out during the 45th minute of the second jam.

thanks guys.. if possible i'd like to kill all of them in one shot and not have to adjust individually.

AD - i did the soundcheck option and am going to give one playlist a listen tonight to see how it turns out. hopefully it works!

you should try volume normalization or something like that...that'll adjust all the volumes to one level...
