landlord question

When your lease is up and you give two months notice to move, can your landlord start showing your place right away? Or does he have to wait till the last month? Anyone know?

I dont think there are laws, but they do have to tell you when they are coming by I believe. When I left the lease to my place in Guelph last year, the landlord always made sure he called before he showed the place (like a few days in advance) to make sure we wouldn't be doing anything..uhh..incriminating.

They can show it right away but have to give you 24 hours notice to let you know they are coming.

Read the Landlord Tenant Act. It's your power as a tenant. Don't let them take advantage of you;

and definitely DEMAND a 24-hour notice call/letter.

If your landlord/super is anything like mine, he probably won't be honouring that 24 hour rule. I heard him (through the walls) walk in on a very angry sleeping neighbour of mine last month.

no at this end of the globe unless you turned in the key,s, and they have to notify you before, i,d say no way .
