Esau.
Awesome pick Hartamophone, I'm actually listening to that very song right now. I think I'm going put this list together on a CD. I have most of the songs already and I love the selections.[color:red][edit to add]Figured I'd share this one right now... Jaimoe
Page 3 again. Perhaps this should be the legendary eleven song album game...The amount of delta/country blues fans on this site I could count on one hand. However, I'm surprised the list hasn't been completed. It's a good list too.

However, I'm surprised the list hasn't been completed. It's a good list too.Yea sure but it isn't that difficult. Between wikipedia, google, and the Smithsonian Folkways websites, not to mention allmusic.com it should be pretty simple. Alabama/Esau left a few huge hints as well. You can count me on that hand, by the way.

Jaimoe
But isn't Jesse Johnson too young for this pre-war blues list? I thought we had to include the artists from that time, which are all dead - except Honeyboy Edwards. Edited February 6, 2008 by Guest

do I need confirmation to continue? No worries, it's good. 1929 falls within the required timeline. Thanks by the way, now I just have to round up that track and this collection is complete. c-towns
I'm assuming this is either you or a guy with the same name as you. If this is the case, why would David Ball mention himself in his own liner notes?
