bradm
According to the most recent set of tour dates posted on the website of The John Henrys, they'll be playing at The Cadillac Lounge in Toronto on Thursday, April 12.Go see 'em if you haven't: rock-solid, well-written, brilliantly played country music.Aloha,Brad

mister slippery
That was Great!! very short set (assuming they started at 10 as they were meant to), but musically wonderful. couldnt even attempt a setlist, but Cards and Death (?) and White/Wild Rose Country (?) were highlights. Bradm, hopefully you can tell me if im remotely close with those. other familiar tunes from the Irenes set you gave me too. TSFKACowboy, YATSea, lovely to see you both, Marge, a sheer delight as always. John Henrys, please, entertain me again, soon.
bradm
"Cards And Death" is correct, but I think "Wild Rose Country" is actually titled "Prairie Fire" (I get that one wrong, too sometimes; TJH titles are often based on words or phrases that show up once in the song during a verse, rather than being the "tag line" of the chorus).Aloha,Brad
mister slippery
Prairie Fire, thats it.Cheers.
YearsAlongTheSea
They also did a couple other great one's like "Lost in the Canyon," "Dawson City" and "Track 5 from the first album" (unofficial name)...Good to see everyone I saw. Short but sweet. And long live Ray's sister who was sacrificing her wine to the hardwood.
