can-o-phish Posted September 12, 2007 Report Share Posted September 12, 2007 We had the pleasure of adding sound design and audio mixing for this short animation film which just took Firt Place in The Canadian Film Centre and SHORTSNONSTOP Mobile Movie Festival The Red Kite Go Fly a KiteToronto illustrator and animator Peter Lacalamita won first place and $1,000 for The Red Kite, his entry in the first SHORTSNONSTOP Mobile Movie Festival. The animated short about a boy who flies his kite in what becomes a war zone also features an original score by Anthony Delduca and sound engineering/sound effects created by Renegade Audio. Presented by Telus, the SHORTSNONSTOP Mobile Movie Festival is a new initiative of the Canadian Film Centre’s Worldwide Short Film Festival. Launched in June 2007, SHORTSNONSTOP began accepting entries to its online festival at www.shortsnonstop.com.
