So get one if you haven't yet.
Big Wooly Mammoth
I've got an extra ticket. Or more precisely, I know someone who has an extra ticket. He can't make it as he has also double booked, but the other booking is a wedding.(Speaking of which some friends are getting married that afternoon at city hall and will be attending this show. We're hoping that the Krugers will be playing something special for them.)

meggo
eek really? so it's all seating?
AD
well, maybe they've taken out the seats now that GCTC is gone. so i shouldn't say that so definitively. But, when the GCTC was there, it was seated with very narrow legroom.

Big Wooly Mammoth
Agreed. After the second song my wife tapped me and said "I'm converted!" Opening band was great as well.I'll get the show distributed asap. Still need to listen to the recording. And this was my first time using the CD recorder, so some of the tracking is messed up. Gotta work on that.
Booche
Thanks again BWM!That show was more than beautiful. It was gorgeous. The Krugers have that rare ability of making you feel like you are in a living room with them.
bagochips
I would love to get my hands on a copy of that, if at all possible. Especially the second set. The Kruger Brothers are a total class act.
Booche
Here's a couple of shots. First is Leaving Train and the Stowaways (is that right?) and then the Kruger Brothers. I am still smiling from ear to ear. I grabbed a couple of videos that dont sound great (compared to what I heard that night) and am currently uploading them to Facebook. Hopefully I can link them here. Thanks again Big Wooly Mammoth. You're the fackin' man! How good was that dobro player in Leaving Train? Awesome. I also loved the Sam Elliott guy that filled in for the evening because their regular mandolin player was off in New York doing a different gig. And make sure ya'll keep an eye/ear out for the Kruger Bros. Killer banjo player.
