Last question,

This is the first year that I'm a wife. Is it better for me to do my return with bouche or can I go off on my own? He has a more difficult return because this site is technically registered as a business.

You can still file on your own, but you do have to report what his income is on your return. Just the number, not the details. But there are other factors too that could be beneficial etc.
