That said, I bought his double-live "Live in America" a few years ago, and while it contains some tasty licks, I was completely underwhelmed. It sounded more like the theme music to a local cable-access talk show (not filmed in Aurora, that is), than a bomb-laden offering from a gnarly bassist. I had a blast at the one he did a couple of years ago at the Opera House when he was touring with his Soul Circus. Got to see some amazing bass players who have studied at his camp, etc. and the rest of the Wooten clan (his brother rips up the guitar).I'll be trying to get to this gig for sure.
