TimmyB Posted February 16, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 16, 2008 I wouldn't pull anything, each bonnaroo has had something different for everyone that might make that specific year the best for them personally.Personally my favorite bonnaroo that I have attended thus far happened in 2004 and my least favorite was 2005.I had tickets to see bonnaroo in 2006 but was unable to attend as my mother died on June 16, 2006 so you can see why I was unable to attend.Peace,Tim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hartamophone Posted February 18, 2008 Report Share Posted February 18, 2008 I'd like to go back, but it's not in the cards this year as I'll be at school in Victoria in the summer.I had a blast in 2003, and was pumped to head back the next year. 2004 was a big disappointment for me though: we were camped in a really sketchy area, a buddy of mine who I had sold on the festie came with us and had a lousy time (which made me feel bad), and I had a severe allergic reaction to something I didn't know I was allergic to on Saturday afternoon, thus completely pooching the day I was most looking forward to (and the bluegrass stage, specifically). Despite a few highlights, it was a largely disappointing weekend.Everything that happened in '04 was entirely circumstantial, but it reminded me of how big a risk it can be to make the trip on a student budget. I haven't been back since, though that's mostly because it just hasn't been in the cards. I really hope to make the trip again, though. Especially since I spend most of my time living in spots that don't get many high-quality shows coming through (a trade-off I am happy to make most of the time), getting so much music in three days is a real thrill.Have fun this year, folks!
