Ms Zimmy
Thanks Brad...I will give it a good read.I've heard that driving at night can be pretty dangerous, they don't fence in their livestock. We are camping all the way down, and I hope to camp in Mexico...but we will play that by ear. I've never been on such a long road trip.
paisley
south and central american countries tend to be very heavy on crime against tourists... is bad for the economyjust don't act too arrogant and don't be too timid... be yourself... if you pick up anything of an intoxicating nature best to not purchase in public view (as careless stoner tourists are good for the economy too), best to find someone there who already has a source

Booche
I crossed the border into Mexico once on foot through someplace in San Diego. It was similar to walking into a Future Shop. On the way back it was less similar. There was a HEAVY stream of foot traffic and the border guards simply yelled out "Does anyone have guns or knives?"I am positive things have changed since 1994.
