Canoe?

I'm wondering where I can get a decent one for a reasonable price. Anyone got any suggestions? Less than $500 is what I want to spend.

you won't get a decent canoe for less than 1000-1500. unless you can find a used one on used ottawa or craigslist.

you could get a useable canoe new for $500, mostly in polyethylene. The problem with this is gonna be its weight and durability.

I would suggest going to an outdoor store in your area and checking the for sale boards most of them have. you migth be able to pick up a good canoe used for that price.

I would go used Ottawa or Craiggs list.

My borther just bought one, his budget was $2000 and he got a super deal of $700.

Look around, most used canoes can still fetch around $1000 but some people don't know that.

Also look in the outskirts of Ottawa. Peterborough, Perth etc.

I love kijiji. I found a 16.5 ft one for $250...cause it has a small crack....which I know how to fix. (it's fiberglass). I offered him $185. Got it for $190.
