Ms.Huxtable
I'm loving the gas range! It seems so much easier to cook with.Birthday dinner was a chick pea salad, beet greens with a warm bacon dressing and rice wraps with raw tuna. But tonight is the real birthday meal with family. HUGE brined pork chops with an apple slaw topping, fingerling potatoes (not sure how they'll be done yet, spinach salad (spinach grown by our friends) with red onion, orange and almonds, and for dessert upon my honey's request, coconut cream pie with sparkler candles on top! AdamH
How's the oven on that thing? Looks like we might be reno'ing a kitchen in a few months and I will be doing the same as you. Love our gas now but the gas oven sucks for baking.

bouche
I've only used the oven for making croutons and they came out wicked. No idea on the baking, but we don't do that much. It's convection so I figure it should be great.

bouche
is it raspberry season or something? There are lots of bushes on the back path. If it is we better get picking before the bears eat them or us!
