Jaimoe
I work at MuchMusic. The strange thing about this is, other than production crews, on-air people and other celebs never have a reason to be around where I work. Jane's is a great band. Farrell is a burnt-out philosopher to be sure. Navarro is an under-rated rock lead guitarist too.

DevO
Tonight they'll be at The Brunny, where Perry Farrell and Rockin' Irene will perform a heart-rendering duet of the theme from Midnight Cowboy!

CyberHippie
How do you like working for Much? I've often thought it would be great working in the music biz somehow. But unfortunately I hate most of the pop music which fuels the industry. So while I'd be in the industry I love, I'd be surrounded by content I hate. What kind of twisted irony is that... Jaimoe
I work in the technical side of Much. The technical production people are cool and professional in a blue-collar way. Since I work in the technical side of broadcasting, direct contact with bad music doesn't effect me too much. I just turn the sound down ( even though I'm paid to listen on a daily basis ). I also work for MuchMore/Vibe/Loud and the new Retro channel - all have better programming than Much. Popular music is getting gradually better so I don't the channels down as much. I find solace in good music conversations on the Sanctuary and with constantly trying to find cool new bands. Actually, the program on Much that has had a great deal of influence on my current musical tastes is The Wedge. It's a great show that plays newer JAMBANDS from time-to-time!!! M
My friend just emailed me a few minutes ago and he's interviewing them right now on air. He said Perry will be spinning at Fez Batik tomorrow after the Massey Hall show.

Guest Low Roller
You work at Much? That's kinda cool. I'm guessing you don't have a say as far as what gets airplay... hence all the pap they regularly get away with. How was Jane's Addiction? I'm actually liking their new single 'Just Because', even though the video wants to give me epileptic seizures. I've always been a big Jane's Addiction fan, and Porno For Pyros for that matter. M
Fez is located at 129 Peter, NE corner of Peter and Richmond. If you know where MuchMusic is (Queen & John), walk 2 blocks west on Queen and then approx 2 blocks south on Peter.
