After hearing bouche rave about his brined pork chops, I had to give it a try.

Man, they were awesome. The actual prep work is very minimal- Just make the brine a few hours before dinner, toss in the pork and stick'em in the fridge for a few hours. Grill'em up and enjoy!

They were some of the tastiest, juiciest pork chops I have ever tried. Thanks for the tips Mike!

yes, i wasn't clear, sorry. was wondering if bouche posted a specific recipe.

I actually understood your question both in the general and specific sense, and went for the easy-to-find answer. ;)

As to the hard-to-find answer, in

I found

tenderloin or chops?

If it's chops, just brine them

2 1 inch pork chops

1 tbsp salt

1 tbsp brown sugar

4 cups water (make sure to dissolve the sugars/salts in a cup of hot water first then add the rest as cold as possible. Ice cubes are a good way to accellorate the cooling process)

any savory items (cloves, bay leave, cinnamon bark, cardamon, farts)

Get a pan really hot (or super grill bbq thingy) and sear on each side for 2-3 minutes each. Remove from heat. Cover with aluminum foil to insulate and finish cooking.

I hope that helps. This is the only way to eat pork chops.

Aloha,

Brad
