Spain???

Hey Skanks, myself and a few buddies are gettgin together and having a Dinner party, and the theme is Spain and I was wondering if any of you's had some good recipies that come from spain or good drink ideas?

I don't have any recipes, but just a suggestion: drop by a branch of your local public library. Chances are that they'll have at least one cookbook devoted to Spanish cuisine. (Ask a librarian if you're not sure where to look or can't find anything.)

You might also drop by a decent-sized LCBO outlet, and ask about getting a nice bottle or two of a good sherry.

marinated manchego cheese

real sangria (not the "red wine with fruit in it")

lamb anything, chorizo anything, gazpacho, churros, lomo

paella (you need a lot of time to make a proper paella)

Thanks guys! Im still pondering about making 2 things but I think im goin to do dessert, making a lemon-cinimon custard with toasted almonds
