Guest Low Roller Posted April 30, 2010 Report Share Posted April 30, 2010 Gabriel Dumont, last year's 5th round draft pick for the Habs, was signed by Montreal for three years and is reporting to Hamilton.He will rejoin Guy Boucher who was his coach for Drummondville in the Q. Boucher had 93 points this year, including 51 goals.No word on whether or not the Habs will sign David Fischer, their first round pick in 2006, to a contract or if they will let him walk this summer. By all accounts he has been a failure at the NCAA level failing to establish himself after four seasons with the University of Minnesota.If I'm not mistaken the Habs are already at the 50 contract limit right now, but things may change after free agency. They'll most likely be in the line-up for Hamilton's game 7 conference final.Tom Pyatt is out with a concussion and will probably sit out the rest of the playoffs.
