bradm
Worst than that? Wurst than that? The cool about those is that they get better with age. Like the way a barrel affects wine or whisky that's stored in it, the can actually imparts flavour to the burger as it ages. The tin-can ones are good, but they have a rare aluminum-can version that's got a lot more of a distinctive flavour. rubberdinghy
The Works has gone downhill since they started at that little hole in the wall on Beechwood. The burgers used to be soooo big they'd tell you "be prepared to wait" cuz it took so long to cook.I hate it when great places sell out...kinda like Licks.Dick's on Merivale is still killer though.and of course....if you ever get a chance at a Velvet burger....DO IT! c-towns
Direnzo's was pretty good and very fresh, pretty much the same sammies I would make at home. The Istanbouli chicken shawarma was very good, definately glad I got the large (nothing really compares to Jimmy's size)Shawarma Palace, fail. However, I did just make my Heady Space burgers tonight, I suspect Velvet burger fans would drool over these bad boys. Thanks for the tips freaks. Northern Wish
The key to Dirienzos is to get there early before the chicken parm sandwiches sell out...

bouche
frenchies on rideau actually does a good burger and fries. Also, Melo's on dalhousie is really top-notch greasy spoon for burger fries, and classic breakfast.
