Jaimoe Posted February 5, 2011 Report Share Posted February 5, 2011 (edited) For those not familiar with Cuff, their songs are often unpredictable; some branch-off into different directions, often with swelling guitar jams. It's quite thrillng, especially in concert, plus the songs are memorable. I've seen Cuff 5 times over the years and they remain one of my favourite Canadian bands, and live bands for that matter. The John Henrys/Cuff bill was ideal, but I'm sure you'll have a good time tonight regardless. It'll be certainly better than watching the Senators game.Oh, and one "special guest" will probably be Blue Rodeo's Greg Keelor. They play together often but do you know if Keelor is in Ottawa or did he play with them last night etc.?And as far as nasal vocals go, Cuff the Duke are right up there. Dale Murray is super under-rated. Cuff the Duke was dying a slow death before he came onboard. They're still not great but decent enough for a Saturday night.
