CyberHippie
What's the story with Houseman these days? IMO he's the only problem with the band.
artsyteach
wow, so sorry you feel that way. he comes out at the right times, and with teedy singing with him, they sound amazing. i think he keeps galactic new orleans' style funk insteading of blending in with everyone else. many people say the same thing as you, though, so i think it really changes once you see them live. NewRider
I haven't seen Galactic this year at all though I'd love to. I personally like what the Houseman adds to the band as well. He's a good singer and has some decent lyrics to throw out there as well.

CyberHippie
I've seen them a few times without Houseman. The last time they played at the Opera House, he was with them. I was like, who the hell is this dude? I found him to be ultra cheesey. Each to his own though. So, is he usually with the band, or is it a you never know kinda thing? I can't wait to see them again though. That female singer sounds like an interested addition as well.

mikey d
i saw them open for bb king and i wasnt impressed until about 3/4 of the way through their set where they realy started jamming. anyone heard any of the houseman's solo cds? i picked one up used the other day and its not bad. id like to hear them with the female vocals, as well as in a smaller venue and not an amphitheatre. kung
I'd like to hear this new disc of theirs with the Dan The Automator production. Was just listening to Handsome Boy Modelling School the other day on headphones and was reminded of how great an album that is.

elemeno
i never liked the houseman until i gave a good listen to live at tip and tinas . i think houseman has trouble with the law and thats why he's not at some shows.
