bradm
any sort of review you can offer, bradm? It was pretty good, but there wasn't much of a crowd there for the show, which limited how fun it was. Here's the set list:Clinch Mountain Back Step (The Stanley Brothers)TaterbugRambler's PleaThe Things In LifeHeart Attack StompDevil's MountainCrosswalkLittle Girl And The Dreadful Snake (Bill Monroe)Time TravelAin't It HardFacebook WaltzBackwaters (Tony Rice)I'm Lost And I'll Never Find The Way (The Stanley Brothers)Miss You SoWindmill RoadHe's Gone (The Grateful Dead)End Of The WorldI Don't KnowIceburgerBluegrass Love SlaveThe show (one big set) was a good 100 minutes, and a lot of my favourite tunes (esp. "End Of The World" and "Time Travel") were pulled out, but the lack of a crowd kind of gave a weird vibe to the night. Part of the problem was that the band was the early entertainment for the night (and a Monday night taboot): they had to get going around 8:30pm, and finished just after 10:00pm, after which was an open stage thing. Tonight it's just them, with a more usual, later, start and end, so we'll see how it goes.Aloha,Brad Edited September 18, 2012 by Guest

c-towns
Get out there folks, these boys (along with any band tied to this scene) can always use the aforementioned love...
bradm
It was much more fun last night. The crowd was still pretty small (about as big as it was on Monday night), but they were there for the music (or got hooked by it; a couple of random walk-ins [Finnish guys in suits] dug the band immensely, and even bought CDs), and the night just had a better, more fun, feel end to end. The sound was also better. They did two sets:Devil's MountainWild Bill JonesWindmill RoadTaterbugGoblinsMiss You SoRambler's PleaHe's Gone (The Grateful Dead)Handsome MollyFacebook WaltzIceburgerTerrapin TrainOut Of The LightHeart Attack StompSomehow Tonight*Backwaters (Tony Rice)The Things In LifeBluegrass Love Slaveunknown #1unknown #2End Of The WorldYou Can Have Her I Don't Want HerDevil In Disguise (Gram Parsons)Time Travel* With a guest on vocals: a woman whose name I didn't get, who hosts a radio show the band appeared on earlier in the day.Tonight is night #3, at Irene's Pub. I think Irene's is trying to get Wednesday night shows started and ended earlier (the show time is listed as 8pm), so with any luck it won't go too late tonight.Aloha,Brad

bradm
Last night was great to hear.
