Sharing The Groove has tons of Zep torrents on any given day in SHN or FLAC format. Some are really good, some are crappy audience recordings.

Knock Three Times

TONY ORLANDO & DAWN

Hey girl what ya doin' down there

Dancin' alone every night while I live right above you

I can hear your music playin'

I can feel your body swayin'

One floor below me you don't even know me

I love you

Oh my darling

Knock three times on the ceiling if you want me

Twice on the pipe if the answer is no

Oh my sweetness (bam,bam, bam)

Means you'll meet me in the hallway

Twice on the pipe (clink, clink) means you ain't gonna show

If you look out your window tonight

Pull in the string with the note that's attached to my heart

Read how many times I saw you

How in my silence I adored you

Only in my dreams does that wall between us come apart

Oh my darling

Knock three times on the ceiling if you want me

Twice on the pipe if the answer is no

Oh my sweetness (bam, bam, bam)

Means you'll meet me in the hallway

Twice on the pipe (clink, clink) means you ain't gonna show

I can hear your music playin'

I can feel your body swayin'

One floor below me you don't even know me

I love you

Oh my darling

Knock three times on the ceiling if you want me

Twice on the pipe if the answer is no

Oh my sweetness (bam, bam, bam)

Means you'll meet me in the hallway

Twice on the pipe (clink, clink) means you ain't gonna show

And...

Geezers, eh?

Well....July 3rd, 1941:

Guy Lombardo and the Royal Canadians,

Sweetheart Parade

Okay, I'm shittin' ya.

It's just that I was so disheartened by something called "Are friends electric?" by Tubeway Amy, which was No. 1 on my birthday in 1979. Never heard of it, but I'm guessing the answer is no.

Interesting spread of ages on this post: So far it's between 1966 (37 or 38 years old) to 1984 (19 or 20 y.o.)

sorry Jaimoe, you're on your own on that one... [Razz] (I sense another supreme geezer contender!)

unless you want to know who the original Charlie's Angels were or what Telly Sevalas' hairstyle was I'm pretty vague on 70s tv stars (could've pulled my fingernails off with plyers and I couldn't have have told ya who David Soul was outside an unsure "um, some 70s guy?")

Gilligan's Island was on at 4 pm and the Flintstones were on at noon and the scantily clad women of television used to excite me far too much [smile]

[edit]

oh yeah! and I learned off of "Emergency!" that pcp will make you see snakes on the ground that aren't really there, give you the strength of five men and that the best way to get rid of the non-snakes is to climb on top of a building and tear out a large television antenna (a device we used in the 70s to recieve television signals) and to beat the ground mercilessly with it until they go away (and be careful not to jump off the building when the Emergency! crew arrives and tries to catch you)
