Freak By Night
Your best bet would be to venture outside of the city, where light pollution is minimal. Gatineau Park might be a good spot.
d_rawk
Thanks Skank By Night. I was kind of thinking that too, but was concerned about park times. I think the shower is supposed to hit its' peak at 1:30am or so.
Northern Wish
Down on the point at Brittania Beach would also be a good spot.I believe that the internal road network for Gat Park is now closed for winter....
AD
Some roads are open and some are closed for winter, yes. If you have a destination in the park that you're planning to go to might be best to call the park and see if you can get there. Pretty sure the road up to Champlain lookout isclosed, that would have been a good spot. The top of the Carleton u parking garage is a surprisingly good spot for these kinds of things, on the few occasions I've gone there.

arcane
I hear Pinhey's Point (waaaaaay west in Kanata, pretty much West Carleton) is good.
