After some information from Dave-O, it's clear that the trademark holder in the US has every right to keep me from selling Pull My Finger in the US iTunes store. I could trademark it in Canada, but looking at the records, I'm not sure that it's worth it. Most sales come from the US. Mind you, they have no jurisdiction with the trademark anywhere outside the US, and there are stores all over so I could just resubmit a newly named app in the US store, and leave Pull My Finger in the other stores. I think I can do that. Regardless, I've decided to learn a lesson about trademark - "Always get a trademark if you believe in a product or service" - and rename the application to something that will still describe the same thing. Yank My Finger Tug My Finger Jerk My Finger Pull The Finger etc... If you need to see what this is all about, go here: http://pullmyfinger.jambands.ca
