  1. Sorry Pud!

Our doggie Mico was just put recently because of Kidney probs. It was so sad to see him unable to walk. He would get excited to see everyone come into my mother's house, but he could get off of his little bed to greet you.

Definately go out to nero tonight. I'm sure they can cheer you up with the super grooves.

Don't forget all of the skanks that will be there buying you drinks [Wink]

  2. Thanks to some great feedback from KevO, The Watchtower's interface has been tweaked a bit.

Once you have a city watch set up, you can change it by clicking on the EDIT button.

Clicking on the City name will launch the details page for that city.

Mouseovers do not trigger the popup anymore. You have to click on the event item to launch the popup info, and then you can click on the artist name in the popup to launch an event search for that artist.

More cities are going to be added shortly.

    Stay tuned.

  3. The Tummies made the drive that much more worthwhile. I know that H was excited as a Staples at the opening of a new Star Wars Movie to see the Tummies.

I think that the performances was much more than I could even imaging. The Tummy leader was a perfect MC for himself, and he should do more MC duties.

I was disappointed by the Spanish Caravan tease and the Rainbow Connection as those should have been finished, and maybe even intertwined.

Funny quote as I walked in...

    Whitey to Moe-ron:

"I've lost so much weight, I have to get some new dancing pants"

  5. Hahah. I read that about jon mcintire. I guess he went to hug a girl after a show and as Bill was walking off stage, jon accidentally punched bill in the face as his arm came around the girl.

Bill fired him later that night all wasted-like.

  6. Hey....I guess that explains why "Living with the Dead" was found in a bin for $1.99 eh?

I also have "Dark Star: An Oral Biography Of Jerry Garcia (by Robert Greenfield)" which is now back in the can. It's a great can-reader. Little snippets from people that were close or not-so-close to jerry, and all organized chronologically.

I just jump in at random places and read that span of his history. I really enjoyed the Old and in the Way years.

    Peter Rowan:

"We'd show up at the Boarding House at four-thirty or five in the afternoon, and Garcia would already be there with his carton of Camels and his roadie. Garcia would just be sitting there, puffing and playing. The only thing we could do was unpack, tune up, and get with him. He'd look up and say, "Where's it go from here?" and then we'd jump in with material. Jerry had this quality of reciprocal enthusiasm and the ability to give off a kind of light. If you tickled his fancy, he would just come forth with so much loving energy that everyone would do better. When you played with Garcia, he could make you rise up to your full capacity. He could make you do that and I think it was reciprocal. He felt he could jump to his full capacity surrounded by the players he loved to play with. I never experienced any ego when he played. He was against any discursive criticism of the moment. He could make every player feel that whatever part they had to contribute was part of the overall experience. He was generous."

  7. It will all disappear. As you start seeing those lovely oysters come out of your lungs, you can almost feel the accomplishment.

Name each one, and that will keep your mind off of what created them. If you need help with names....might I suggest THIS SITE.

I stayed away from all of the smokers I knew for about a month. That was sort of easy, living in Smiths Falls. I just stayed here. After about a month, the efforts became easier. Anytime I craved a smoke, it would seriously pass within a minute or so and I would feel good for not caving to the craving. I guess a short attention span can help.
