  1. Thanks for ruining the movie. I still haven't seen Episode 2! Now its RUINED!!!

Oh well....thanks to that, I found some shameless 'photoshopping' happening on the net....Click on the photo for some more hard-to-spot fakes.

    Which one's are real....which one's aren't? You decide.

  2. That show was a lot of fun. IT's a good thing that we had poor weather training camp at the CT fest in May.

Catphish tried to scare the rain away with a tweet or two from the recorder, but it didn't work. I think it was her evil tones that she sent out. Trey made it stop pretty quickly, although, he DID have THAT guitar.

There is nothing like watching Trey up close. He is a perfect example of how one's musical energy can be manifested in multiple forms. I think his face shows more than most faces. A very cool effect for me was their use of multi-coloured strobes in Mr. Completely. I was in the strobe-zone, so the effect was in full force. Watching Trey disappear and reappear is pretty damn cool to that trippy-ass tune.

It was so wonderful to run into everyone at set break. I thought it actually might be tough there, as there was an entire covered seating area, along with the muddy ground. Luckily, everyone was on one side of the sound board.

The after-party at Vermont Dave's was plenty of fun, but it was hard to keep going too late.

Thanks to boyscout Lowroller for continuing to work on the fire. You got some good flames going my man! DaveO sat in on the banjo and we had a few really cool jams.

Nero will be playing in Burlington on July 12th. It's a friday!

  3. Here here!

    Excellent writings Palakam

Here's an example of some of the darkness piercing firefly outfits. It's a little dark. I don't have any tool handy to brighten it up right now...sorry.

What does the hawaiian word, 'Atari' mean in english?

  4. MILWAUKEE (AP) - A county highway committee denied a permit to the promoters of a Grateful Dead reunion concert, saying the area could not handle the enormous crowd expected.

The Walworth County Highway Committee on Tuesday turned down the request by Clear Channel Entertainment to stage "Terrapin Station - A Grateful Dead Family Reunion" Aug. 3-4 in East Troy.

"You can imagine the amount of humanity that's going to converge on little old East Troy in Walworth County," said committee chairman Odell R. Gigante. "We only have 80 some sheriff deputies. Short of bringing in the National Guard we just couldn't handle it."

The two-day concert would have been the first time Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh and Bob Weir staged a concert together since the death of Jerry Garcia, the Dead's leader and founder. Garcia died in 1995 of a heart attack.

  5. Never Surrender. Brings me back in time about a week with Catphish singing it really loudly.

There is a Beatles medley by Stars on 45 the throws me WAY back. It's a just a ton of beatle's tunes smashed together and driven by a disco beat.

    Got sound...midi that is?

Then there is a disco version of the Star Wars theme by Meco. I have that 45 !

  6. Hey Trey-headskies!

I need to get a head/tent count for our friend Vermont Dave. I haven't talked to him in a while, and I'd like to let him know how many people will be camping at his place.

He is 10 minutes away from the venue.

I need a pretty exact number, so whoever is in charge of their own group of 2 or 3 or whatever, please email me who's coming, and how many tents.

I'll start up a little email list for the next couple of days and I will have directions ready.

    email me at bathtubgin@phishsanctuary.com

    include:

    Head Count

    Tent Count

    Merci-skies [smile]
