They used to sell them here, but they disappeared. I even emailed Pringles about it, and they thanked me and said taht if there were more people here enjoying the product like me, they'd still be on the shelves.

My folks went to Myrtle beach one year, and I axed them to bring me back some. They brought me back over a dozen CANS! THey were only 99 cents where they were. That's a far cry from the standard $2.49 here.

Does anyone that is going to CT Fest have access to a laptop with USB?

I'm in dire need of some storage space for pics this weekend, and I can't take a weekend's worth without offloading images from my camera.

Scherzo's in Kingston is perfect. Then in Ottawa, you've got the Cafe Dekcuf to pack with skanks quite easily.

If you are burning music, you are burning the same format. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are burning WAV files no matter what.

You convert mp3's to wavs, and burn them. You convert SHN's to waves, and burn them.

Easy CD creator convert's the mp3's for you, so you probably don't notice that part of it.

If you are getting errors, try different software.

so things are just going back to the way they were. All you need is a little know-how, and patience and you can find anything you need.

There are plenty of sources for mp3's, but finding what you want easily is not necessarily the way anymore. It never was, not until Napster came along, then EVERYONE could jump in and get things for free.

Kazaa is pretty simple and so is Morpheus. Watch out though, I know that Kazaa actually uses your computer to propagate itself. Basically, it'll use your computer and internet connection to actually supply people that are trying to download Kazaa! CrazY! WHen I run those programs, I COMPLETELY disable sharing.

Direct Connect works great, as long as you can section off shitloads of gigs for sharing. But what good is sharing these days with companies like BELL capping your uploads?

If you are really adventurous...get into use IRC for file sharing. It's sort of complicated, but it works. Hell, that's all Napster was, a fancy IRC client.
