  1. I feel tears welling up from down deep inside right now. Finky-poo...where on earth have you been?

I have a trivia question for you.

2 cars are travelling at 120 km/h. Both cars leave at the EXACT same time, and arrive at the destination at the EXACT same time. Both cars stopped after 2 hours of travel at a house in kingston that serves sandwiches that have which red sauce as the 'secret ingredient'.

  2. I will probably have to run some script to get things back in order.

    The show was 9-14-73

Performing 9/14/73 Civic Center, Providence, RI (Donna Show)

1: Cold Rain, Race Is On, Loose Lucy, Box of Rain, Tennessee Jed, You Ain't Woman, Big RxR Blues, Cumberland, Bobby McGee, Bird Song, Johnny B Goode

2: HC Sunshine, Big River, TLEO, WRS Prelude> WRS Part 1> Let It Grow, Eyes> Comes A TIme, NFA> GDTRFB> NFA

    Encore: Brokedown*

    Filler: None

Brokedown was soooo beautiful. This was an amazing show. HI energy country first set, all for catphish, and then a beautiful, harmony-filled second set with killer jams.

TLEO was FAST without any harmony. The race is on, was a slowed-down version, and Lisa (who people kept calling donna) was amazing for that loretta tune.

  3. I will get looking at these issues ONE BY ONE.

I think that the menu should be usable in IE 4. I'll look into that right away. If I have to, I'll just make a secondary menu for people with lower versions, however, IE 4 is pretty much obsolete, especially considering some of the security implications on older browsers.

CACA is not a web-safe colour, so I did not use that. If you mean the dark-earthy bar, I just hope you can get passed the poop. Poop can be many colours, and so can puke. It is all in the smell and taste that makes poop and puke bad, not the colour.

The colours have been kept simple so that the site design and layout can take precedence. The usability of the site is by far more important than the use of too many colours.

The scheme can be tweaked as time goes on, which is why it was kept simple. This will be an ever evolving process, as it has been in the last year and a half.

The site did not take five months, but it did take many, many, many nights of research and plenty of real personal effort to get something out by CT fest at frontier town. All of the basics that were regularly used were the priorities .(ie: show listing, news, and of course the Sanctuary)

The images will be back, but are unavailable until that area is complete.

It can only get better as the ideas flow. I certainly am charged by everyone's feedback, and by noticing how people try to use the forums in new ways.

The avatars will be tweaked to fit with the current back-colour which is a very easy colour on the eyes.

Not everyone can be perfectly happy with any one scheme, font or set of imagery, but it can be easily tweaked to bring it closer.

  4. Hey now!

Thanks for all of the advice and pointers on the forum, site, and colours.

I haven't been able to address any yet, but I will get to them shortly. If you notice any weird crap happening in the forum, it's just me trying to get some new things working.

Having said that, avatars MAY be affected. Right now, they are disappearing because of some code that still points to the old site for the graphics. After I set up some new features, however, members may need to re-select their avatar. Have a look at which avatar you have, and write it down in case that happens.

I'm looking at a way to preserve that, but it may not be possible.

  5. JbOogz_ONLY_wIfEy in Onstage_1 asks: Hi Phil, how many instrumnets do you play?

Phil_Lesh_Live says: I don't really play anything, but I fool around with guitar, keyboard

I have no intelligent questions. I may go find a winning question off of the internet.
