  1. Hey phunkyb, i was at that show too. It was really good and I totally remember them playing it. We were sitting upstairs in the balcony right by the bar (serving Upper Canada brews). Ended up sitting beside Bruce Cockburn and Colin Linden! Too bad we've lost Danko ... he had such a sweet voice
  2. I'm heading out with some buddies for a friend's stag tonight. Supposedly there's a Bob Marley cover band playing at the bar too. Never been there before, but drinks will be flowing at: The Hideout 484 Queen St. W two blocks east of Bathurst
  3. Hey Tim, Thanks for the offer. Let me know how it turns out. Looks like the resellers got their fair share of tix today: http://www.ticketsnow.com/InventoryBrowse/Bruce-Springsteen-Tickets-at-Air-Canada-Centre-in-Toronto?PID=787377
  4. LOL ... that was the one show i missed Got most of it on DVD if you want to see it
  5. SP you ROCK! Really, i'll sit anywhere. The Boss is one of those performers that i never miss (and will drive to see too!) Doesn't float everyone's boat, but he's freakin' brilliant to me Check this out if you haven't yet: Been trying for tix for an hour now. Thought there might be some CC returns, but no Keeping my fingers crossed
  6. Shut out Anyone got extras? Looking for floors After 4 mins there was nothing available. GO FIGURE!
  7. Bacon Man! http://www.spike.com/blog/bacon-man-is-king-of/73513 The Bacon Man is an avatar about the size of a 10-year-old human made of sweet, sweet, bacon. Knocking on the door of cannibalism? Possibly. Worth it? Definitely. Bacon man was born when Super Sized Meals user Billy’s brain was impregnated by, like, 3 pounds of bacon. Orginally ripped from the self-described a-hole of the internet, 4Chan, Bacon Man looks delicious because Bacon Man is made entirely of bacon. He is also, possibly, a savory reference to Burning Man. Sweet, high-temperature hedonism!
  8. FUCK YOU Irving. I hope that everybody who ordered tix on TicketsNow submit for their refund. "Good faith gesture"?? Forced damage control more like it. Then, they'll continue on in the bastardly little way. Once a TicketBastard, always a TicketBastard.

  14. Exactly. We were perilously close to losing rock and roll in north america after he died. We can thank the Beatles arrival on US soil in '64 for the revival of rock. Beatles (named themselves after Holly's band The Crickets) and Holly = greatness.
