  1. While Bobby's bitchin' about a few streaming shows on Wolfgang's Vault, Phil's doin' something productive ... Attaboy Phil!!!
  2. I pm'd ya all her contact info What was posted above is correct ... fristname_lastname@cbc.ca They also go by this format as well: 7lettersoflastnameFristinitial@Toronto.CBC.CA Later . . . Kanada Kev =8)
  3. Thanks for the +10. Sure is better than a lot of players on the ice right now I'm sure i'll be back at even, or in the negatives, when the playoffs get closer . I love the Habs, and I love the Leafs, but i just don't have any love left to give the Sens I'm feeling really sad for Gainey and his family now
  4. Because some have a little more class than that Maybe there's some sort of sympathy/empathy ... Rough times right now ... ride it out.
  5. Not like it's anything new, but it still is cool. Icon and icon Legendary UCLA basketball coach John R. Wooden greets his former player Bill Walton after UCLA defeated Texas A&M 65-62 at the John R. Wooden Classic college basketball game in Anaheim, Calif. (Kevork Djansezian/Associated Press)
  6. I like Warren's comment at the end of Born Under A Bad Sign when he says, "we might have to come back here for two days next time...."
  7. This is a cool video that was included on the bonus DVD that came with Modern Times. I had it cranked on the home theatre one night and just got mesmerized by it and it's simplicity. Look for the subtleties in their facial expressions and stuff. Really fun. http://www.slate.com/id/2155056/
  8. The recording is bringing back a lot of 'memories' from that night. WHAT A SHOW!
  9. No need to stop at the side of a highway unless it's necessary. Not a safe place to hang out. I wouldn't want people "visiting" the roadside site where i died in a car accident. Morbid, IMHO. I'm also not a fan of grave sites mind you ... I go with, take what you can from my body when I'm gone if it can make somebody else's life better. Then scatter my ashes somewhere and become part of nature.
  10. Killer show. Just listened to the Shakedown tease from my MuleTracks download of the show. It was for the last minute or so of Unring the Bell. Later . . . Kanada Kev =8) np: Thorazine Shuffle - gm2006-12-01

  12. Thanks for the tip. Downloading my FLACs right now
  13. Weaker than weak ... they can't blame anyone but themselves. Good for Raycroft to let the first 4 shots on him in the 3rd period go in. If the rest of the fucking team isn't going to play, then why the fuck should he? Slump is almost over. They will have at least one win by midnight this Saturday Later . . . Kanada Kev =8)

  15. Hey, you never know. Good for you for doing that. If more constituents contacted their MPs, their MPs may do things that they wish since they do represent. Just saw an article showing that my MP (who never returned my calls when I was locked out by the CBC last year) is voting to NOT re-open the issue. Good for her. Here's the article, as it includes info on the MPs in and around Hamilton/Burlington/Oakville: http://www.hamiltonspectator.com/NASApp/cs/ContentServer?pagename=hamilton/Layout/Article_Type1&c=Article&cid=1165359016177&call_pageid=1020420665036&col=1014656511815 Later . . . 16. I'm sure there's a better pic out there for a comparison Or, a quick photoshop of some long blond curly hair onto a Borje pic
  17. Is it me, or does Daltry remind anyone else of Borje Salming?
  18. The first time I saw Simon was at a Roger Daltry show. He did a tour billed as "Daltry sings Townshend". It was up at Kingswood and was a surprisingly great show. He had a mini-orchestra backing the band in which Simon was on lead. Simon had the sound and stage-presence of Pete at that show. Add to that, the OX came out and played bass for almost half of the show!!! I thinkn Simon has played with the Who in more recent years too, hasn't he? Later . . . Kanada Kev =8)
  19. Very cool effect ... totally picture this being done by some band called Phish Laser pointers were handed out to the audience at this Flaming Lips concert. http://www.glumbert.com/media/laser Later . . . Kanada Kev =8)

  21. So he's basically admitting that the strategy is ineffective. What a knob. Yup ... and based on supply and demand, street prices could increase and therefore lead more addicts to more crime to pay for their habit/sickness. Maybe that's when he breaks out the "It's god's will" cop-out . http://www.lilithgallery.com/articles/canada/The_Prank_That_Destroyed_StockwellDay.html
  22. Ahhh yes, the power of prayer Surprised he didn't use "God bless". My dad did some "work" with Stockwell. He was doing a presentation at the Toronto Airport Chistian Fellowship http://www.tacf.org/ Stock is into thinking that we were walking around with the dinosaurs 6,000 years ago I need a drink. Cheers, Kanada Kev =8)
