Ouch. That had to have sucked. Sorry to hear about that. You'd hope that a watchdog like the BBB would be a help. I'll probably be looking into a bunch of roofwork in the the spring and I'll be sure to post here for any recommendations on who to get a quote from. UGH ... haven't been on for a couple of days. The Leafs really put the "turd" in SaTURDay night's game. They looked like shit for the first two periods. THere was a lot of excitement in the third and then McCabe had to play totally out of position and blow any sort of momentum they had ... and the game. LOL ... love that picture. Interesting article. This is a very positive thing and the Leafs should be congratulated for agreeing on participating. One of my best friends couldn't "come out" about his homosexuality until he was in his 30s. Even then, he was afraid that he'd lose his friends. This guy was the best hockey player i knew growing up and came from a very "macho" family. They are still trying to come to grips with it ... sad I liked the quote in the article: The Montreal Canadiens would also probably have agreed. Calgary Flames, I'm not so sure about. LOL ... probably true too.

Get the bill sent to the landlord ... DO NOT pay up front on their behalf. The only way around that is to set it out in writing that you'll pay and that you'll subtract it from your rent. I had to do that with getting rid of some skunks and raccoons (for some reason, my house would smell a little "skunky" from time to time when friends came over )

There's a lot of crooked ones too. The cheapest are invariably the WORST when it comes to the roofing industry. I'm going to need new shingles, soffats and fascia in the spring.
