  1. Corner Gas sucks. I hate Brent Butt.

Satsuma Soap...big fan here. I also used to love the smell of The Gap's "grass" perfume...I had a girlfriend who wore it and I'd go all Peter North on her when she did.

that stuff is great! my friend chelsey used to wear that too! too bad it comes from the gap though, i have never and will never buy anything from the gap. i have to admit though, i bought a pair of gap cords from a used clothing store in waterloo. i love the gap's clothes but hate their politics.

  2. Thank goodness. Overpopulation is the biggest environmental catastrophe we have right now. This couldn't come at a better time.

as harsh and stonehearted as this sounds, i totally agree with you! and that is why ricky and i have chosen not to have kids. ohip covers vasectomies and tube clinching! (but for women it's a lot more risky, especially if you have any allergies, asthma or heart issues.)

  3. ricky went to ghana a couple years ago and he says that there are both pop and traditional groups there. he played with a group that were quite traditional even though they were well aware of the more popular modern styles. they also knew that pop musicians made more money but they still played traditional music. there will always be a purist element and there will always be more modern aspects to music anywhere. that is how new genres develop. the blues was once a modern and controversial style of music, and now it forms the backbone of much of today's music.

  4. that's not a cree reserve, it's iroquois. the six nations are onieda, seneca, mohawk, onondaga, tuscarora and cayuga. cree are algonquian, not that some cree people can't live there. ricky's ojibway and he lives all the way down here when his family came from from temagami.

  5. My computer keeps picking-up voices telling me to KILL, KILL, KIIIILLLLLLL!

i pick that up too. i think it's a sailing program. oh yeah, and it's spelled keel, not kill. ::

  6. what's wrong with voicing your opinions? i thought that was what america was founded on. these kids weren't making direct threats to george w bush, they were just singing a song about the way they feel. at least it had a bit of substance, unlike most of the crappy tunes that are coming from "socially sanctioned" sources of music, ie. mainstream empires of crap. the US is scaring me more and more every day. i really think we should start doing the marry an american thing and start saving people before the freedoms really start to erode. it will be similar to schindler's list, just without all the factory work! ::

  7. Well, there's always next time! I was at a B-day party for one of the best people I know.....I had a different kind of fun!! Will there be a part two to this party?

part two is the fantasia party at my house on sunday! oh yeah, any girls that want to come look at sex toys and eat lots of vegan goodies, come on down! pm me for the details.

  8. bouche, how come you havent brought up the exhibit at the ROM that compares the different poops from different men around the world - the giant african poop vs the tine North American poo...

didn't that have a profound affect on you?

is this still on? if so, who wants to go to the ROM friday? free admission after 430! let's have a sh!tty field trip. ::

  9. there were browntowners in attendance MamaRed, you missed a doozy.

yeah, me and sarah were both there (i still count myself as a browntowner, i still know what goes on on market street!) and we were both in prime form! we were a couple of doozies all on our own, we had to keep up the browntown tradition! i don't think there were any more browntowners there.

  10. nothin' like potty humour! :: here's my pooh stories.

    1. i have an older sister. for my thirteenth birthday she sh!t in a bag and handed it to me saying "happy fu©king birthday, this is what your life is going to be like now that you're a teenager."

    2. i once sh!t in the shape of a question mark. it had the dot and everything.

  11. the flying j is a huge chain of truckstops and it actually has good food. sure, there is fried stuff on the menu, but there is also a salad bar and lots of soup and stuff like that too. they are almost always really clean and also you can get gas, diesel and whatever else you need in the giftshop/ convenience store. a lot of them have internet connections too. just don't sit in the trucker section (yes this actually exists) it's designed to get them back on the road faster since they are working and that would be kinda rude to steal their spot.

  12. speeding tickets suck--period!--- :: I got off on a ticket before because the police officer spelled my name wrong.--lucky.

you like spelling mistakes that much? i have never seen someone "get off" on a piece of paper unless it had a picture of a hot chick with huge boobs. ::

  13. we could all bombard the message board with fair trade messages if you want, that might get attention. if you get even just ten people on there saying the same thing they might get the hint. since i don't even know where this cafe is i am leaving the call up to you. i have to admit though, i have had thoughts about how to organize a proper campaign to get tim horton's to go fair trade. they are the biggest coffee retailer in canada and they do make a great cup of coffee. in fact i am drinking one right now, mind you it is the one i picked up last night on the way home from chatham and fell asleep before drinking.

  14. that was TWO barrels of monkeys! thanks for putting on that party and to everyone who came, and to everyone who enjoyed the chili! woo hoo, i have to admit that it is now three thirty in the afternoon and i have just finished breakfast, we didn't get home till after seven am, poor old whussy pants ricky needed to sleep at home. :P
