    Foie Gras

I wrote a reply to Ron Eade's reply to my original reply to his original post. Hehe. It hasn't been published yet and I don't know if it will be.

    Foie Gras

Ron Eade (Citizen food writer and blogger) also stopped fellating chefs and farmers for a few moments to churn out some drivel about foie gras. His blog post from yesterday and reprinted article from 2007 is here I wrote a reply to his piece; it's on that same page down at the bottom.
  9. i'd rather karate chop that commercial than pierre. fuck is it annoying!
  10. who is in charge of scheduling? Bank of America Stage 7:00 pm Ice Cube 9:30 pm Our Lady Peace
  11. Oh yeah, Ersh - Since you're the rock star here I was wondering if you could tell me what these things are. I saw the Arcade Fire play two big outdoor shows on the Neon Bible tour and these were sitting sidestage on both sides, 3 or 4 on each side, during their set. I haven't seen any other band use anything like this. Any idea what they're for? I guess they look like antennae - maybe for wireless guitar packs or something? A little big and bulky for that though....
  12. I don't think Arcade Fire has played Bonnaroo... But I'm sure the Lips and Arcade Fire have played a few of the same festivals.
  13. Something's a bit fishy though - Toronto to Calgary in one day by train? Um, no.
  14. i had grilled cheese - olive bread, colby cheese, thin slice of red onion (davey boy's tip from another thread i believe), tomato. Dipped into a ketchup / sriracha mixture.
  15. Really looking forward to the new album. For those that don't know, his band for most of his 2009 dates (dubbed The Sugarcanes) has some heavy hitters: * Jim Lauderdale - guitar, vocals * Jerry Douglas - dobro * Mike Compton - mandolin * Stuart Duncan - fiddle, banjo * Dennis Crouch - bass * Jeff Taylor - accordion He's apparently playing solo at Bonnaroo on the Saturday, and the Tuesday after Bonnaroo at the Ryman with The Sugarcanes, considering sticking around down there for that... For the Canadian fans, looks like Toronto is all that has been confirmed so far, with the routing going away from Canada right after. Hopefully at least a Montreal show is added.
