AD gets at least 2 days off in the middle of the work because his data are on said flooded server. CHECK!!! Havinbeers it is!

I don't want to start a rumour, but given that there are previous rumours about Metallica-anchored 'Rock Day' at Bluesfest, rumours of a joint bid between Quebec City and Bluesfest for said band, an annouced Quebec City gig for STP and a giant hole in their schedule during Bluesfest (when they'll be in the neighbourhood), might a Bluesfest gig on "Rock Day" be in the offing?

i haven't completely thought out my position, and i probably won't have a 'position' about this, but are they going to put in a rule saying "you must always look at the puck and if you're near the goalie you can only say nice things and make sure he is able to stop the puck even though you're supposed to be putting the puck past him, oh and don't think about touching him 'incidentely', even though he's a tough kid covered in 3 inch armour..." i dunno. just thinking out loud. the rules aren't enforced as they are so who really cares. if they can't call simple tripping penalties but are tripping over themselves trying to determine what a player is allowed to do with his arms on a screen, i think something is fucked in the league office.

He's touring with Taj Mahal in June so methinks they'd be on the same night at Bluesfest. Just speculation though.

Feist would only be available on July 3, 4, or 5. The 6th she's in Vermont and then into the states. Blind Boys are in PEI on the 5th, Quebec City on the 6th, and NJ on the 10th, so there's lots of room for them. Wyclef is in Quebec City on the 11th, so that's possible. Even though he's brutal. Brian Wilson is in the UK on the 1st and Niagara Falls on the 8th. I've previously reported Brian Wilson will be at Bluesfest on the 9th. Great Big Sea have nothing booked until the 12th at the Amphitheatre in Toronto, so that's possible. Taj Mahal is in the neighbourhood and would be available most likely on the 3rd, but is around early in the week as well. .... that's enough sleuthing around for me tonight. Just a few additions here from Velvet's master list. But nice to see some more names all the same. Only a week until the full line-up is released.

i think the small font at the bottom fooled me. but, the headliners look kinda, well, small-ish. oh well. the fun in festivals isn't the headliners anyways.
