there's a place on Roncesvalles in Toronto (B's) that has a sandwich that is so ridiculously awesome, and it's called the BLATCH Bacon Lettuce Avocado Tomato Cheese and I can't remember what the H is. (it's not ham)
not sure, but i think Take The Long Way Home or The Logical Song by Supertramp were right up there. Breakfast in America was my first favourite album (with Seven and the Ragged Tiger by Duran Duran a close second).
it wasn't at all for me. it's so bloody hot during the day that i don't think there's much energy left for late-night. at least that was my experience. i think short sets are common because it's usually the brand-new up and comers who don't have anything to play.
if you can stay hydrated it is awesome. i was there in 2005. a ton of fun. lots of great bands, lots of beautiful people, some great art installations, beautiful scenery i would choose bonnaroo over coachella any day, but if you can do it, give coachella a try too.
haha i was at the first of those shows. awesome time. IME was wicked back in the day. spent most of that show crowd-surfing. fun times. saw IME unplugged the next day at tower records. very strange to hear Levitate on acoustic guitars.
Can't remember which one came first: Joe Cocker / Jennifer Warnes, Ontario Place Forum , or Simon & Garfunkel, Gordon Lightfoot, Blue Rodeo @ SkyDome First one I went to on my own (without parents) was 54 40 at the Western Fair in London, ON, 1992
google doesn't have road networks for a few countries down there. but you could try to do it in chunks (ottawa - texas, texas - guatemala, etc) they are adding new data all the time. long long trips like that won't likely be possible to be routed in any online mapping application, due to data quality and topology
