That was lot's of fun. Same setlist as we saw in Valleyfield last thursday for the most part. Brad Ripped it a bit more in valleyfield but i guess him and sarah was sick last night. Awesome show though. Great guys.

I am trying to get my friends into her not as easy. on the way to barr brothers i put on one of her live albums and was asked to switch it to the barr brothers. not naming any names hahah. their loss. love her songs and deep voice.

I highly recommend you check her out edger. i saw her live in Montreal in September and it was fantastic.Very Ani Difranco kind of crowd. I was solo at the show and i think i was the only guy their not with his wife/gf.lol I have been following Laura since her first album alas i cannot swim. Her progression through her albums has been beautiful. I will be at the Montreal show again for sure.. can't wait!!!

nice so far, i read an article that said their was a lot of comment about having rock acts last year so they are going to try and get back to their jazz roots. Was talking to the jazzfest guys alot this year. And told them to book marco and garage a trois. They said forsure they loved them. Spoke to marco's manager via email recently and they said offer was put on the table then taken back saying they didn't want them anymore. What the f#%k jazzfest. I still love you. But what the f#$k !!

Indirectly this effects the pot smoker as well. Sure the ban is not about pot smoking. It's about Cigs. As Weed is Illegal (for the most part). So not having other people smoking cigs around you will make it much easier for them to pinpoint the pot smokers. But I think when everyone is in the middle of a crowd it will be impossible to catch either smokers or puffers. Will be interesting to see how they approach it.

Just curious who is attending. I have no plans too, i am on a budget. But after some of the acts that none of us like are over i am sure it would be pretty interesting to attend.

their is a ban at jazzfest but people still smoke. in a crowd that large they will have a tough time controlling it.

Hey Velvet, Any idea what time you guys will be playing at. Going to JJ Grey and Mofro tonight but wouldn't mind stoping by your gig first if i can see you guys play a few songs. Let me know if you have any idea. What time do the festivities start. Thanks Rob
