  6. I was gonna try for some friends in Denver but just got off the phone with Ticketmaster Outlet here in Waterloo and you CAN'T buy tickets for the Red Rocks show in Ontario through an outlet. Not sure if this is old information but there ya go.
  7. Thanks Kev. From that read I gather (in a nutshell) that the citizens of this province will be nailed with higher costs to compensate for governments that have driven their municipalities (and province) hopelessly into the red. We'll be paying more for something but less for another thing (in theory) with the dividends going to paying off debt with the surplus. either way it looks like we lose in the long run....or do we?
  8. great! we gotta get some fuggin' jammin' in before you leave Hal. and...you're the only person in this whole damn city that like sports besides myself (playing not watching)...hope you know you're leaving me with a bunch of lazy hippies here pal!

  11. what gives. does this help the 'little guy?' i am already aware of how it will help my company as i do a fair bit of large scale purchasing, but what gives for someone buying a big ticket item such as a car....or for that matter, groceries? Do you think the vendors will actually pass these savings onto us? ((looking in darren's direction ))
  12. you guys are the semantic KINGS of conversations that go nowhere. i know you both and can't believe that if you were in the same room that any of your conversations would continue past 2 minutes. that being said... the term is stupid and doesn't require an alternative IMO. how about calling that person an asshole...works for me.
