I think the pic looks like Bobby. Could be that the story is real. Could be that someone looked at that pic, thought it looked like Bobby and concocted the story around the pic. Could be that the story is legit but it wasn't Bobby, but the pic does look believably like Bobby so they made it a Bobby story just for the helluvit. Either way who cares.
I can't believe I missed it. The website said it was on until 10pm but it wasn't. We got there just after 8pm and everyone was tearing down. The aftermath of Ribfest is ugly.
Congrats to Dave-o and Stapes, spent the show in the Pit! We pulled 100 levels. Another good show, and the last one for me (for a while at least!) Was happy for Happy, went wild for Wild Horses, and well, I really enjoyed Dead Flowers.
If Toronto is any indication you can show up five minutes before you want to go in. On Thursday we arrived at 7:55 and had a beer in hand by 8pm. Show starts right around 9pm.
We saw him at the Ottawa Folkfest back when they were at the Brittania Park site. The show wasn't that exciting as far as I recall. Thanks for the heads up though. I'm hoping to spend Canada Day outside in the sun!
It'll be weird hearing a trio in quadrophonic sound. Maybe from one side we'll get blasted with nothing, really loud. I might go to this on Friday - any guesses on whether or not it will sell out?
I was almost out of breath trying to keep up with the line, it moved so fast. We got in line for the $85 tix at about 7:20 and had tix in hand by 7:30. easy-peasy.
Absolutely. We were in the back of the hall for the Brooklyn show and we walked out of there all smiles. If you like the band you're gonna love the show no matter where you sit (or stand, as the case may be).
They announced both shows before either went on sale. And yes, we get shut out of things. We just don't end up bragging about the shutouts on the internet!
