  1. OK I'm confused here. How is Jay a douchebag? He is the promoter of the show. The person responsible for booking the room, coordinating all promotions and taking in all proceeds and paying artists involved. He also most likely paid for the shirts to be made and the design was most surely approved by BNB. So if Jay is putting int he work to make this show happend, BNB is fine with it and they are both investing in the T-shirts as revenue stream (which is a good idea if you plan to have a business), then how is anyone a douchebag? I have dealt with Jay for years and he is a str5ight shooter and one of the biggest supporters of this community. Let's take it down a notch and direct our anger elsewhere.
  2. I will be in Cooperstown. It is a magical place if you love baseball.
  3. This show and the cheap blowout tickets reek of commercial scalper manipulation in collusion with Ticketmaster. How long until these fuckers get charged for this?
  4. Well I think he has smoked it and a video exists. And as for his bro Dougie that guy was a hash dealer in the 1980s early 1990s. My girlfirend's parents circle of friedns all knew him from back in the day and said "oh yeah everyone in Etobicoke new he was the hash man". Liars both of them.

  7. Sat.Feb.23 Nocturne (550 Queen Street West, Toronto) ———————————————– 10$ at the door—————– 19+ ——————— Digital Earth is an experimental event concept, formulated with the intention of merging electronic music and live music, while showcasing local talent and organic, global vibes. After the initial edition of the Digital Earth series, at Tabu nightclub in Guelph, the Digital Earth has spent the cold of winter refiguring and reformulating itself. Now, set for rebirth inside the depths of Nocturne (550 Queen Street West, Toronto), one of Toronto’s most notoriously dark and demented nightclubs, the Digital Earth is ready to exist as a nomadic event series, adapting to new surroundings and infiltrating various spaces with positive energy that will overcome all that it comes across. Resurfacing in the middle of the big city to bring together an extensively eclectic group of flourishing talent from the surrounding areas, this more highly evolved edition of the Digital Earth series has a lineup that is absolutely loaded with a little something for everyone (and live visuals too!). The Digital Earth has been evolving rapidly and is finally ready to ignite the night once again to light up your lives with a feast of magical live music and stellar song selectors for a two-room dance party that will leave your feet tired, your minds glowing, and your hearts on fire. CP has 2 full length album releases, 1 EP and a special DJ vinyl remix pressing to it’s credit and has appeared at premier North American festivals such as Camp Bisco, Freedom Festival, Evolve, OM and the NuJazz Festival, and to audiences numbering in the tens of thousands. This performance will feature of Loopsy Dazy as duo, in the absence of Eleanor Edgar on violin. Accompanied by the immensely talented Brad Weber (Pick a Piper/Caribou) on drums, Mikey’s improvised looping techniques create an atmospheric blend of acoustic sounds and glitched out electronica that will take you on a journey that is sure to get your feet moving in every which direction (perhaps even into a Conga line). As not even the musicians know exactly just where they are taking you, this journey is one that will be just as exciting for you as it is for them. https://www.facebook.com/loopsydazy http://loopsydazy.com/ ———————————————– ~MiNETA~ -funk/circus/electronic- “Quirky, sexy, circus funk.†MiNETA is one of the most exciting bands in Toronto. 17. I have the entire video on a quality torrent so seeing on the big screen would be great!
  18. I can't beleive Mickey would assault anyone. I agree the Mystery Box album is a crime for sure but he is not a violent man. Let's hope he doesn't go to hell in a bucket!
  19. Ipads are brutal pieces of machinery that are seriously flawed. My 2 cents.
  20. Can't wait! Is is gonna be jamtastic this weekend in Kitchener I guarantee it!
  21. Really aggressive and dark style. Had great fuzz tone. He also worked on a number of Wilson Pickett records. Great player R.I.P.
  22. CP & MustStashHat in Kitchener. Psychedelic double play. On Saturday June 9th, The Chameleon Project returns to Kitchener with local jam heroes MustStashHat at Fat Cat’s on Hazeglen (aka Hack’s bar and grill). 23. Real shame. He did reveal he was diagnosed with Cancer 3 years ago, guess treatment didn't go so well. Cancer seems to be getting more and more of us. All the more reason to eat right, stop smoking and excessive. R.I.P.
  24. I have stayed there at least 5 times. Very good place well run. The upstairs rooms have been renovated and they are on of only 2 motels in town. Go for it, it is the one you want.
  25. Good looking line up. Fat Cats are classic and Sam Klass brings a fresh vibe to the scene. Is there a discount if I bring a 15lbs+ cat to the show to boogie down?
