Kakabeka Falls provincial park is really nice. the campground is good, if you don't stay it's worth it to see the falls and walk around a bit.
The Big Nickel in sudbury is another place you really oughta stop. so is the terry fox memorial near thunder bay.

how about October 19th at the River Run Centre in Guelph??
Ummmm... OKAY! Meet you there?
absolutely. it's a school night, so i don't know how much of a party it will be, but there are several fine pubs within walking distance if you guys want to meet up ahead of time and have dinner and a pint...
woooo hoooo!

niffermouse and i did that run for our honeymoon in 2004...while the whole trip was amazing, i would particularly reccommend doing the yellowhead (northern arm of the transcanada) up to prince rupert and taking the ferry down to vancouver island.
we both really dug the calgary zoo, and science north in sudbury, but we are huge nerds
cypress hills provincial park on the SK/AB border was amazing, as were the badlands and dinosaur provincial park.
see the kootenays, visit nelson BC.
have a blast, take lots of pictures!

Star Wars always needed a good deep dicking scene between Han and Leia.
I'm betting there's a whole subculture that'd like to see some intense scenes taking place on the Ewok and/or Wookie home planets...

do you mean these folks?

But don't try this at home, he warned. "Absolutely don't."
Funded in part by the U.S. government, the research was published online Tuesday by the journal Psychopharmacology.
these clips all caught my eye. i'd agree about the don't do this at home bit, it's much more fun to do it out with friends
and where can i get a subscription to Psychopharmacology? and do the Mounties hand deliver my first issue?

strange, i can open this through netscape, and it doesn't ask for a p/w.
yet it does when opening through IE.
i remember reading an interview with John Barlow where he talked about one of the EFF's early subversive actions being to register the username cyberpunk password cyberpunk at every major website that was asking for free registration.
lat time the new york times asked me for a pw, this worked.
as far as the article goes,
Mr. Hart said that his hope was that the arrangement would free the band to make music together. "To us, the Grateful Dead was always about the music, not just going to board meetings. The business got so big, and that's not what we signed up for."When we don't have to do business together, maybe we can become friends again. Maybe we can even play together again."
that's moderately encouraging.

i've lost 2 grandmonthers in the last 2 months and seen lots of palliative care. when a 90 year old dies, it's sad...when A 20something person is struck down like this it's a tragedy. condolences to you and your sister and family....

indeed, happy birthday mark!
i hope that you guys did it up right at phil last night....if you did, you're probably still up
you are a very big part of this scene. it never fails to amuse me that i can walk up to just about anyone at a show and ask how they know you, and always get a good story
happy birthday!

stop being a leecher and upload some goods
that's what i'm doing thanks for the advice everyone, i'm now at 0.485 and climbing. david suzuki's "naked ape to superspecies" seems to be a big hit...the Band from 1996 not so much...
oh well, at least i won't get the boot yet.
edit to add... 0.664 and climbing. the band torrent finally took off.
thanks for all your advice, everyone. BT is a strange and mysterious thing...
-
thanks, brian.
i think i sort of expected that it would be like other bt sites, grab a show and stay in the swarm for a day or so and bingo, high ratio.
alas.
-
i'm at a week and a half and my share ratio is 0.147. it seems as though there are way more seeders than leechers on oink. i'm currently seeding a band show, but no takers.
on dime i have like a 2.8 ratio...this seems way harder than it should be.
have others had the same experience?

besides which, the ticket will eventually surface again during some future brush with the law, and its' existence will only give the cop involved a reason to dislike you.
having cops dislike you is bad.
i say pay

hey leanne!
that's great news...glad to hear that she's making progress. if she has not already read it, i would reccommend the Joseph Campbell Companion.
easily the most uplifting and positive thing i've read in ages....
