Interesting! Leave it to the anal, Protestant-work-ethic world of Anglo-Saxophones (hey, is that a new word?) to make time so central to the language. I blame Frederick Winslow Taylor (bastard).
I relish having travelled to places where people don't need watches (like, say, the CTMF).
anglo-saxamaphone?

I propose that we start a new religion, scam people out of millions of dollars, and charter a train for Festival Express II .
all we gotta do is start claiming that this dude is coming back...

The Corporation.
I know that this film has been talked about before, and i'm also aware that it bored many of you to tears. well fill up on coffee and watch it, it's very much worth it.

Welcome to 1996 Ottawa!
I knew that was coming from the Big City folk!
indeed. my little quiet piece of 519 is going to 10 digits tomorrow too.
i've been quite enjoying the anachronistic feel of 7 digit dialing. i'll be sad to see it go

Also, I am SOOOOOO glad you're in Cassia's life...when she quotes lines like the one above, I can rest easy, knowing that when she really starts asking questions, I can just ship her off for a week of "summer camp" with you & Jen!
ok, but she's going to come back a bit warped camp timmifer ain't no YMCA camp...
"let's go! these wallets have to be on the streets of hong kong tomorrow!"

Go and have Velvet examine you. He's "practically a doctor," or so he's told many young ladies in the past...
hey baby, i can prescribe anything i want...

Personally, and this is further to MarcO's comments, I would send them a short letter "confirming" that the extra thousand was a retroactive payment due to the February increase. It might very well be.
At worst, they'll demand the money back right away. At best, you'll get to keep it. If, however, they come back at you two years from now, and start accusing you of keeping that money on a tortious basis (eg. "unjust enrichment") you whip out a copy of your letter to them, and then cheerfully repay the money. At that point you have "clean hands" and no one can accuse you of anything untoward.
ding! ding! ding!
we have a winner!

as i was not specific enough, booche gets it. i had thought that "cigareetes and coffee" and "smoke gets in your eyes" from the "Smoke" soundtrack were his final recordings, but the Grisman sessions are a pretty good contender.
mr booche, you're up.

Timouse you up! Ask away!
what was the last thing jerry recorded before his death?

IN YOUR FACE YOU SAD BASTARDS!

FACT: my very first foray into Ebay was to purchase John Brunner's THE SHEEP LOOK UP...a wicked SciFi end-of-times scenario.
that's one of my favourite books...nice one!
(and that is a fact. little known, probably even less cared about )

i download mostly live stuff...when not, it's weird enough that it's not available anywhere else.
when i do buy a CD i prefer to buy right from the band & cut out the middleman.
