  2. Tonight yo! While all you fools believe in the snow, I'll be sailing away in a dillusional state where I think I'm in the Kokomo.
  3. Yup, it was Pam. He probably also got a shot at a shot or two with Sheryl Crow when he promoted her show at the Montreal Grand Prix. And it was tough finding a picutre of the Valliant Arena... it really was. That was the only one I could find that showed the unique arch design from the inside. I guess I'm the one who's wrong, cuase if it was so cool, there would be more pictures.
  4. I'd prefer not to give away my identity on the internet. I have much to hide.
  5. Let the traffic games begin. My 'sidestreet' with a slow light is backed up 3 stops signs. That's 10 minutes to get 500 metres. Have fun y'all!
  6. That NIN clip is awesome. Reminded me of the Midnight at Bonnaroo set he played a couple years ago. Real intense. Just cause Sauls not getting enough love:
  7. theme: In Sickness And In...Well, In Sickness: Songs about disease, sickness, and personal injury 1. Frank Zappa - Diseases Of The Band 2. The Disco Biscuits - Therapy 3. Ween - Spinal Meningitis (Got Me Down) 4. Led Zeppelin - In My Time of Dying 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12.

  9. To be fair, I think I'm like the 6th or 7th person to use that joke, so you're not the only one! It could of been used on me once too. I was pretty dumb when I was younger. Like a week younger.
  10. It also kind reminds me of this scene: sorry, best clilp I could find
  11. I hate to double post, but the snow now looks like Billions of golf balls flying at my window, only at the last second to curve away! I feel like I'm in a popcorn machine, or a lotto hopper. And sometimes when the wind is just right, the golf balls just hang there all matrix stlye. Fuggin cool.
  12. It's snowing 'up' ways at my building now. That's good, soon all the snow will be off the ground!
  13. I'd say as of 2:05pm Eastern. Toronto if fricked.
  14. Dude, I'm a Hippie! That just Blew My Mind! Cheers Brah!
  15. This only prooves the myth that you have to make it somewhere else before you make it in your hometown (Ontario bands)... I always thought they were good, but they were friends, and you know, you don't want your friends to think they are too good. But seeing them at the Rivoli on Friday with all this new attention... I can say that I can see what all the fuss is about. Each player is great on their own, so the 'Orchestra' is deffinately a show. Pierre on Keys is a Wizard. You'll hear Guitar, you'll hear rolling baselines, but you won't see a string instrument on the stage. He's absolutely spectacular. Phil on Drums, and Steve on Sax play in a band in Mexico called the People Project. Everytime they go down there and come back their game reaches a whole new level. And with Ray Belting out the harmonies on the Baritone, it's hard not to get lost in the low end syncopation. Their repitoire ranges from Funk, to Afrobeat, to Spanish, to Radiohead (::fingers crossed:: Pierre does a wicked cover of Paranoid Android, and I keep bugging SoulJazz to pick up this tune). So I guess all I'm saying that with Saul Williams setting the mood with some intense spoken word, and SoulJazz closing with up to two hours of fast, tight, and funky tunes to release some of the tension Sauls going to bring... It'll be emotional!
  16. To be fair, the person who thought "Rain" wrote "the Beatles" made it as close to impossible for a hippie to fact check.
  17. Torontos sky's just opened up. It looks furious, heavy and wet snow. If it goes for any length of time, it's going to be dicey for rush hour. Yikes!!!

  20. Absolutley text book! Good to see Emery calm down a little bit. Sounded real humble post game too, saying he's still got a ways to go. If tonights any indication, he'll be unbeatable if he gets there.
  21. Agreed, Bargnani looked hella impressive with his 3 pt stroke. When this guy gets really good, he'll be really good!
