So, the Islanders seem to have a lock on that 7th spot, and barring a collapse by Atlanta, it looks as though there are 5 teams competing for that 8th spot, for the reward of... meeting Buffalo in the first round. Yikes... MVP Guesses? I'm picking Martin Broudeur... hands down. My buddy seems to think Luongo's going to get the nod, and maybe Crosby for all the points, but honestley, there is NOBODY more valuble to their team. The Guy is freaking incredible... I hope he gets the single season shutout record.

  9. It was lots of Fun, Saul Williams was heavy though. Delivered his fathers eulogy as part of his spoken word performance. His set wasn't particularly polished either, but man is he ever a tour de force! Soul Jazz played a good set, but I think Saul tired the crowd out a bit, and it stadily thinned until SoulJazz's last song around 2:00. They weren't as tight as they were at the Rivoli a week earlier... I think a treacherous trip from Ottawa that day with freezing rain, car accidents galore, had something to do with it... but a dance floor packed with a gaggle of beautiful Hamilton women was a testament to the show! Where were the guys? Who knows... who cares!

  11. I'd say Koivu and Kovalev are the Problem. Kovalev more than anything. He's the Dany Heatley of your team, but he hasn't raised his game or played near his potential this year. That'll bring the whole team down... it shows the most with Koivu... I'd love to see him rebound, but am skeptical that he has it in him.

  20. There were lakes separating the side walks and the roads, made it tough to get a csb, but all was better when I found one willing to pull up on the curb! I can't see the mavelous view outta my windows... they are covered in a sem9-thin film of ice. It sounds like aliens are trying to get in the small cracks of my windows. I'm scared!!!
