  9. I think there was good food to be had all over. It's just that we were on a pretty tight budget so we were always choosing cheap eats. There are loads of great restaurants in HK no doubt, but we would sometimes eat in a diner, so what can you expect. Also, when Velvet says he kept losing his appetite, I don't think it was because his food wasn't good, I just think his appetite was being weird.

  13. any Ottawa folks planning on this show? There are only a handful of cheap tix left. Not sure I have the gumption to head down there by myself (and definitely not to make an advance purchase) but if some other folks are going, then I might be up for it!

  15. I just learned a new word i had no idea what a drupe was! Welcome to the board. drupe dro͞op/ noun BOTANY a fleshy fruit with thin skin and a central stone containing the seed, e.g., a plum, cherry, almond, or olive.
  16. Tomorrow night (Nov 12) is in Gatineau in case you Ottawa folks didn't know! There are still tix available The venue is a nice, small theatre although it is not really central. I guess we'll hear some stuff from his latest album of pedal steel "Goodbye to language" Toronto and Hamilton shows next week!
