  1. No way. Zaun has the skills to be a starter on many teams in the league, however he's an offensive catcher and IMHO not what the Jays need. He'll get a three year contract, easy.
  2. Sweet thanks a million! it would be nice to have one last hurrah with all my music friends before I head over seas...I'll let ya know closer to the date for sure
  3. Dont feel too bad, it wasn't the most special Mule show. Pretty standard. I think the highlight was hearing a couple new tunes but thats it.
  4. Let's see what JP can come up with in a trade.
  5. Fair enough, but if the Thomas rumours are true, the LAST thing we need is an offensive catcher who can't throw out runners. We need someone who can play defense. Zaun is slower than molasses when trying to throw some body out.
  6. I think Zaun is going to be wayyyy overpriced this year, unfortunately. He is good value at a million a year, terrible value at 4-5 a year...especially if he gets a three year contract. JP is a smart dude I bet he's got some trades in the works...Wells for Pudge and Verlander!!! Haha just kidding.
  7. With the addition of Thomas the Jays need a defensive catcher...I am not sure if Zaun or Molina fit that bill.
  8. It looks great, Million Miles is a great tune... I will definatly be at the Toronto show and most likely also at the Rochester show.
  9. I was there last night and left early...I dunno, wasn't feeling it I guess unfortunately. They sounded alright though.
  10. I love Thomas! However at the reported 25-30 million dollar range for 2 years, I dont love him anymore...jeebus save that money and sign Wells!
  11. Nah Deeps don't do that' date=' if I come I'll pay full price. I'll probably end up making it out...[/quote'] Hey Ari, if you're looking for something to do in Toronto on Friday, the Bucks are playing at Clinton's. And I'm probably headed to the kegger on Saturday. The five of us in the band are headed to Toronto in my car, but it's got the front bench seat...we could squeeze you in if you need a ride back. It'd just mean that you'd have to chill in Hamilton during the day on Saturday pre-kegger. Hmm, I could take you up on that brother man, any chance youd PM me your number and then I'll call you and let ya know my plans..
  12. Nah Deeps don't do that, if I come I'll pay full price. I'll probably end up making it out...
  13. Dave' date=' I am quite curious as to why you aren't into him?[/quote'] I really just find him to be un-authentic at best and a complete farce at worst. I don't buy it at all. Its like good vibes from your good friends at coca-cola. The second part to my two-part hate-on is that I find a lot of his songs are the same song. So not only is it unoriginal, its unoriginal over and over again. What can I say. I'm really not a hippy hating asshole. You should start performing Afro poppa, because I know your hippiness is the real deal. You can't hate the real deal no matter what it is, you gotta appreciate it. Fair enough, that seems like a pretty good reason not to like the music. As far as me performing, I don't think anybody with hearing left wants to hear me play any sort of instrument, let alone sing
  14. is Tim the owner of Van Gohs/Vinyl/Jimmy Jazz?
  15. yay finally a thread for us! go leafs!!
  16. I have few hand bills, and I think thats about all I can handle in terms of promotion...hell I don't even really know the Slip that well...
  17. The problem for me is that I will probably be in Toronto on the Friday, and then I need to be in Toronto on the Sunday...so bussing back and forth and back and forth might be a little much.
  18. This is gonna be a tough choice between WTTS kegger and this...hmmm what to do, what to do
  19. I am going there for exchange, so I guess I'll be living there for five months and then slowly making my way back. I have tentative return date of May 22 (which is the day school ends) but I am 98 percent sure I'll be travelling afterwards, possibly on an around-the-world plane ticket.
  20. I think with Rudd it really depends on the crowd. For instance, the first time I saw him at Bonnaroo a few years ago and many people had come from Australia just to see him, it was the best thing ever. Then a few months later I saw him in Toronto and it wasn't as good because the crowd was just standing there and just didn't enjoy it. The same goes for the recent Guelph show, it was by the best of the three shows that week (two in Toronto and the Guelph one) because the crowd (at least at the end, after everyone got up) was loving it and was totally into it. Oh well, he's not for everyone but I think those that like him really like him.
  21. hmm C'Mon eh...if I dont go into Toronto thats probably where you'll find me, I've heard great things about those guys.
  22. wow what a lineup! too bad I'll be on the other side of the world...
  23. ahh this is tonight eh? sweet, I'm 92 percent sure I'll be there.
